Dr Stephen Ng has specialised in the areas of Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery with expertise in eyelid & orbital reconstruction, eyelid & orbital tumour management, lacrimal surgery and diseases of the orbit.  Dr Ng is also involved in general ophthalmology practice as well as cataract surgery.

Dr Ng’s experience and training include the following:
• Consultant Ophthalmic, Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgeon, Waikato Hospital 2000-present;
• Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Ophthalmology, University of Auckland 2002;
• Fellowship of The International Society for Orbital Disorders by election, March 2001;
• Oculoplastics and Orbital Fellow Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, 1999-2000;
• Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 1997;
• Diploma of Obstetrics University of Otago, 1989 and
• Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, University of Otago, 1987.
